Rich Killen

Rich has master’s degrees in Mental Health Counseling and Sport and Exercise Psychology from Argosy University-Phoenix. Rich is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Approved Clinical Supervisor, and National Certified Counselor. He is the owner and COO of LifeTree Counseling. He has worked with children and families at Touchstone Health Services. In addition to his time at Touchstone, spent time working in Substance Use in both outpatient and partial hospitalization programs. Rich has also worked at Doorways and Thrive Therapy where he treated adolescents and young adults for a variety of things, and specialized in OCD and anxiety treatment. He has also completed the BTTI training for OCD through the International OCD Foundation. In addition, Rich has also worked with athletes and other individuals interested in improving their performance and success.

Approach

Rich uses an integrated approach based on the needs of each individual. Rich’s primary treatment approaches include: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, Structural Family therapy, and Strategic Family therapy.
