Diedrich is a Licensed Associate Counselor with his Master’s degree from NAU in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and a Master’s degree in School Counseling.  Prior to working at Lifetree, he spent 24 years in education as a teacher and counselor, and he loves working with people.  Although not a native, Diedrich has lived in Arizona for most of his life.  He and Amy, his wife since 2004, love to camp in the woods, hike, and travel to beautiful places in the country.

Approach

Diedrich uses an integrated approach to counseling to match clients with their personal therapeutic needs.  His treatment approach blends Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and includes aspects of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Emotional Focused Therapy (EFT).  Diedrich believes in the Bio-Psycho-Social-Spiritual complexity of people and will work with the entire person to help them move towards healing and wholeness.
