SAM S. LAMPLE

Samuel S. Lample is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Approved Clinical Supervisor, Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS) and an International OCD Foundation member and approved therapist. He is the owner CEO of LifeTree Counseling. He has been treating individuals with eating disorders and OCD for the past 22 years in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Mr. Lample worked in an inpatient eating disorder treatment center for nearly a decade, as a therapist, Clinical Director and finally as the Director of Admissions. During this time, he also led the development of the nation’s first adolescent, male-specific, inpatient eating disorder program. Mr. Lample was the Clinical Director at Doorways for 4 years. He founded what would become Thrive Therapy in 2009 until moving on to launch LifeTree Counseling in 2021 with a call to:

Originally from Baltimore, Sam earned an undergraduate degree in business at Bryant University in Rhode Island and graduated from Regent University in 2000 with his master’s in counseling. He has been married to his wife Krista for almost 15 years and enjoys golf, travel, and movies.

Mr. Lample counsels from an (ACT) Acceptance & Commitment Therapy perspective. He incorporates (DBT) Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and (ERP) Exposure with Response Prevention principles into the majority of his work.
